Pop for Charity

Pop for Charity was formed in 1998 by a group of musicians in Minneapolis, MN. They understood the plight broke musicians and artists go through for basic needs such as medical care and services.

POPFORCHARITY is a Minnesota-based, nonprofit organization, curating music events with an emphasis on local talent. By donating event proceeds to various charities and providing literature at events, we help spread awareness and welcome volunteers who want to get involved.
POPFORCHARITY strives to accomplish its mission in ways that are creative, entertaining, and fun. Through the gracious sponsorship of several local organizations and business, we are able to host monthly showcases at various venues with an ever-changing lineup. We have found a unique and positive way to simultaneously bring people together for a positive cause, promote local talent, and effectively help provide both financial sustenance and support to charities within our communities.
Organizing more than 50 events since its conception in 1998, POPFORCHARITY has received ample attention and support from the media, businesses, and organizations all over the Twin Cities.
